Europe: 35 – 40 million children obese

An International Obesity Taskforce report shows that 35-40 million children worldwide are classified as obese.

This report, Obesity in children and young people: A crisis in public health, identifies some of the probable causes of this rise in obesity. It also calls for stronger policies to combat childhood obesity.
