Australian researcher considers obesity will soon overtake smoking as a primary public health issue

The ABC interviews Sydney University researcher Michael Booth whose soon to be published study is expected to show that children as young as 15 are already showing signs of liver damage. They could be waiting for liver transplants before they’re 40. Booth comments that government does not yet realise the real seriousness of obesity and overweight.
