NZ: Guidelines for active children in schools

From the beginning of term one 2006, New Zealand schools will have another essential learning area – physical activity. Schools will have to pay as much attention to physical activity as they do to literacy, numeracy, science and technology.

The Ministry of Education and SPARC have developed a strategy to help teachers implement this policy.
