NZ: Children’s activity levels differ widely

Parents key to keeping children moving

Researchers have found that, on average, students at an Auckland school exceeded the physical activity guidelines for their age. However, extremely high levels of activity in some children masked a sedentary group.

The study was published in the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport.
