Can ‘economic instruments’ such as taxes and price incentives reduce obesity?

A World Health Organization report reviews the evidence on the effectiveness of economic instruments in containing or reducing food consumption, particularly in foods high in saturated fats and other energy dense foods. These instruments include taxes, price policies and incentives.
