NZ: Popular foods sold in supermarkets unhealthy

Researchers analysed what regular customers at a Wellington supermarket purchased over the course of one year. They found that some of the most popular products were also the least healthy.

Shoppers favoured full-fat milk, full-sugar soft drinks and white bread over healthier options in these food groups.
