Australia: School zones full of junk food ads

Australian children are bombarded with junk food ads on their way to school.

NSW researchers looked for ads within 500 metres of 40 schools and found more than 9,000.  A quarter of these were food ads – mostly for non-core items such as soft drinks and alcohol.
