NZ: Health group calls for government to remove GST from healthy food

The Public Health Association says recent research from the University of Auckland presents a compelling case for the removal of GST from nutritious food.

Director, Dr Gay Keating, is urging Members of Parliament to support the Maori Party Bill to remove GST from healthy food and send it to Select Committee when it gets its first reading in July.
