US: Why the happy meal is already illegal

Public health lawyer Michele Simon argues that advertising to young children is inherently deceptive.  They don’t have the cognitive capacity to understand that they are being marketed to and cannot comprehend “persuasive intent.”

This means all marketing to young children is  currently illegal in the US.
