Pacific nations at risk of being bankrupted by diabetes

A snapshot from the International Diabetes Federation International predicts that that by 2035, 10% of the global population will have diabetes.

Diabetes is already the world’s largest health problem, costing close to US $550 billion a year. The Western Pacific area has the highest number of cases. Professor Paul Zimmet comments.
