The 20 most popular TV programmes that British children watch on ITV are during evening prime time.
These 20 programmes won’t be covered by the new junk food advertising restrictions. This is because the same programmes are also popular with adults. And far more adults than children are watching.
Only seven of the children’s favourite 50 programmes will be covered by the new advertising restrictions.
British Consumer group Which? took a snap shot survey of ITV viewing figures for children aged 4 to 15 years. The survey covered a two week period during May and June this year.
