KFC deal not cricket, obesity experts say
Health experts are asking Cricket Australia to end its sponsorship deal with fast food giant KFC. In a letter to the Medical Journal of Australia, they point out that this sponsorship is sending the wrong messages to children.
“This advertising uses the standing of cricket and its players to endorse and promote unhealthy eating habits, one of the major root causes of obesity.”
