Change4Life: The healthy living revolution starts here

Britain’s Health Secretary has launched an anti-obesity campaign, Change4Life, involving food companies and thousands of local organisations and charities.

From early next year, families will start to see new local initiatives providing support, help and advice to help them live more healthily.

For example, there will be healthy food promotions and recipes in supermarkets, walking campaigns, cycling groups or free swimming for under 16s and over 60s. This will be backed up by a major advertising campaign.

Anti-obesity drive to use shock ads

The British government’s new anti-obesity campaign, Change4Life, will use ads showing the dangers of having fat around internal organs. This fat is putting people at risk of serious illness such as type 2 diabetes or heart disease.
