Some of the world’s most popular children’s cereals are full of unhealthy ingredients and use relentless marketing techniques to promote them, say Consumer International. Their new report looks at the contents of breakfast cereals marketed to children in 32 countries.

Some cereals are 40 percent sugar - including 7 sold in New Zealand.

The amount of salt in one Hong Kong product was as high as sea water. Seven (different) New Zealand cereals were too salty.
