Bequest to FOE New Zealand Trust
If you would like to make a bequest to FOE New Zealand Trust, please ask your legal advisor to help you prepare the correct wording in your Will. This will ensure your wishes are carried out as you intended.
There are several ways you can make a gift in your will:
- you can nominate a specific sum to FOE New Zealand Trust
- you can leave a percentage of your estate
- or you can leave the residue of your estate after you have made provision for your friends and family.
Here is an example of the wording you could use for your bequest:
I give, free of all charge, to FOE New Zealand Trust the sum of $___________(or) ________% of my estate( or) the residue of my estate for the general purposes of the Trust. The official receipt of FOE New Zealand Trust will be sufficient acknowledgement of having received this gift.
Please be aware that your bequest needs to be signed by you and written into your Will.
